Sunday 20 September, 5pm, free entry.
Self-proclaimed K. Walsh and his band The Podium Babies are the hottest new ticket on the not-so-quiet country scene. Sick and tired of embroidered shirts and bolo ties, “K Dot” relishes in the theme but knows where he comes from—the concrete sidewalks of Sydney’s Newtown.
Now he is hitting the regions in solo mode and swinging by the Taproom for a Sunday arvo show full of great tunes and plenty of stories.

“K. Walsh mines a rich seam of modern country-rock and Australian Americana. Golden sounds and sonic delights around every corner – complete with pedal steel, killer guitar lines, horns, and that beautifully burnished voice that elevates these songs to a special place. Fans of the likes of Kevin Morby and Daniel Romano will be rewarded!”
