DESCRIPTION:Friday July 24\, free entry.\nCaravans are a five-piece rock band from Kyneton led by guitarist and vocalist Paul Otway (bassist for The Panics). The band craft an introspective and evocative sound that weaves together rock\, blues\, and the occasional foray into outlaw country\, all built around Otway’s original songwriting.\n \nThe current line-up features Bradd Bamford on drums\, Paul Binns on bass guitar\, John Merakovsky on keys\, and Matt Wallace on guitar\, with the band rounding out their live sets with nods to formative influences including Neil Young\, The Rolling Stones\, and Kris Kristofferson. In 2025\, the band released their debut album “Bright Lights” on streaming platforms. With Caravans\, Otway channels that rich musical history into a project that is distinctly his own – intimate\, rootsy\, and rooted in the rolling landscapes of regional Victoria.
